FirstCommunity values its relationship with you and as our customer, your privacy is important to us. FirstCommunity has always protected your information and will continue to do so. FirstCommunity collects information to provide you with our services and to meet your needs. At times FirstCommunity is required to share information in order to better serve you, our customer. The following notice describes our policies and practices with regard to collecting and disclosing nonpublic personal information about our customers and former customers.
Confidentiality and Security of Your Nonpublic Personal Information
We maintain appropriate physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to maintain the confidentiality and security of your nonpublic personal information. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.
Categories of Information That We Collect
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information that we receive from you on applications and other forms;
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others; and
- Information that we receive from a consumer protection agency.
Categories of Parties to Whom We May Disclose Information
We may disclose nonpublic personal financial information about you to our affiliates. We may also disclose all of the information that we collect, as described above, to service providers, such as mail fulfillment houses who assist us in mailing information to you about our products or to other financial institutions in order to service your account. We do not share any credit information about you and we do not disclose or sell our customer lists.
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted or required by law.
Changes to Our Notice of Privacy Policy and Insurance Information Practices
We reserve the right to change our privacy policies and insurance information practices. If we make any material changes to our policies or practices, we will provide you with a copy of a revised notice.
